it is that time of the year, a lot of people get apprehensive, where will i get all the money i need to ensure i my family has a good christmas? do i travel or stay at home? this are the questiond peole ask, even when things are normal.
this time it is different, thinga are not normal.
FUEL subsidy will be removed come january 2012, what will be the ripple effect on food, transport, housing, health care, education,....? hmmm.
that fear will dampen the spirit this season and a lot of people will be a lot more prudent while spending so they are not caught off guard.
i was listening to a discussion the other day and i heard things like, it can not happen, not in Naija, remove fuel subsidy ke? every where go burn ni, ahh!
i thot to my self, ki lo fe shele? ( wetin wan happen) and the answer i got... is nothing!
we will make some noise, may be, give opportunities for the area boys to loot and destroy properties, take a few days of forced leave and... dat will be all.
a friend said, 'life is sweet' and nobody wan die.
so my brother if any body tells you 'dem no fit' remove fuel subsidy sake of say wahala go burst, me i know sure o!
make all man carry him burden, na the naija wen we dey now be dat, QED!.
